About the Holy Face Companion

The Holy Face Companion is a dedicated devotional application for the Chaplet of the Holy Face of Jesus, the prayer of reparation given to Sister Mary of St. Peter at the Carmel of Tours and approved by Pope Leo XIII in 1885. The app guides the faithful, bead by bead, through the thirty-three small prayers that honor the thirty-three years of Christ’s earthly life, together with the Glory Be and the verse “Arise, O Lord, and let Thine enemies be scattered.”

It is built for Catholics and for any soul drawn to console the wounded Face of Christ — whether praying the chaplet for the first time or keeping a lifelong habit of reparation. Alongside the guided prayer, the Companion offers a quiet record of daily prayer, a litany of the Holy Face, a gallery of sacred images, the history of the devotion from Tours to the present day, the keeping of private prayer intentions, and a way to light a candle or give alms in intention.

The app is built and maintained by a small group of the faithful devoted to the Holy Face, offered freely as a work of reparation and a help to prayer. It carries no advertising and seeks no gain beyond the consolation of Our Lord and the conversion of sinners, for whom this chaplet was first given.
